A Little about me
My musical journey began around four years ago when I was 15, during the peak of the COVID pandemic. With extra time on my hands, like many others, I dove deep into the music I loved—Jazz. It wasn’t just the genre itself that captivated me, but the vocalists, particularly legends like Mel Tormé and Ella Fitzgerald. Their ability to convey deep emotion through their voices and their lyrical precision inspired me greatly, shaping the way I sing today. As time went on, I realized I no longer wanted to sing just in my room or the shower—I wanted to perform on stage. I started seeking out opportunities to sing with live musicians and discovered jam sessions in my area.
It didn’t take long before I learned that performing was about more than just singing—it was about connecting with the audience. I began studying videos of great jazz vocalists, fascinated by how comfortable and relaxed they seemed on stage. Frank Sinatra, in particular, made everything look effortless, and I drew inspiration from his stage presence. I now aim to bring that same relaxed, passionate energy to my own performances, always striving to make a genuine connection with my audience.
